I love this!! JC Penney’s is offering $200 worth of free clothing to 6,000 of our Iraq and Afghanistan vets. Eligible vets should register for free at this site http://rucksack.iava.org/. You can see the details here.
Here is the word from Steve Lawrence, senior general merchandise manager for JC Penney, ” Our military servicemembers spend years wearing a uniform and many do not get the opportunity to build a wardrobe that makes it possible to go to a job interview, attend a friend’s wedding, or simply enjoy a night out with their spouse. Given all the sacrifices they make to serve our country, we’re doing our part as a leading American retailer to outfit our nation’s heroes with the head-to-toe looks needed to dress for any occasion with style.”
Kudos to you, JC Penney-this is over a million dollar thank you to our heroes!
Readers-please help me to spread the word about this if you know of any returning vets!
