Many states have no state sales tax shopping days coming up soon. This is the ideal time to do your back to school shopping . Here is the list that I have compiled so far: If you know of any others, please leave me a comment so I can update the list for everyone.
Each state has specific eligibility requirements. You can search “your state” + 2011 tax free shopping days for the specific exemptions in your state (or your neighboring state if it is worth the trip) on www.taxadmin.org. Type in “tax free shopping dates” in the search bar. Not all states are participating and some counties and towns may choose not to participate.
