I love this service more each time I use this site. If you haven’t read any of my earlier posts about Alice.com. Here is a run-down:

Alice.com  is a new home-delivery grocery shopping site  for all your household products (all non-perishable items) with great prices, NO minimums, and FREE delivery. (Only a 6 item minimum for free delivery, no set dollar amount.)

1.  Big box savings without the big boxes (and the membership fee) -  I admit, I love the free samples and those calories don’t count- but the giant size boxes, then  finding the room to store everything and the lugging in the house -part, well that’s where the love stops. It is always a battle of willpower not to spend $200 every time I go in there. I love taking my husband so he can help me carry everything, but then add an extra $100 to the above statement.

2. Coupons without the clipping, and organizing, and sorting, and the math! Doing price unit comparisons and juggling laundry soap coupons with two toddlers grabbing at everything in sight, fun times! Alice.com  has free coupons you can immediately apply to your order.

3. No impulse purchases-no kids begging you for sugar-filled treats. I find myself being much more careful and selective as I add items into my Alice.com cart.

4. I actually enjoy shopping in about two aisles of the grocery store. The produce aisle and the meat & deli aisle, that’s it. If I never spent another minute wandering the toilet paper, cleaning supply or laundry aisle, well that’s more time in my day.

5. In most cases, their prices are even cheaper than Wal-Mart. I am not saying anything else about Wal-Mart or Sam will come from Bentonville and get me. Focus on the products that Alice.com has a special coupon code for, found at the bottom of their page.

6. Trying new products on Alice.com. Other shoppers award 5 ducks or less as they rate new items they have tried. I don’t have extra money to be spending on things my family won’t like and this is valuable Mom feedback, the best kind.

7.  I WANT to be more green and I NEED to be thrifty. Often those two goals cannot be accomplished together. I love Alice.com because they strive to be environmentally responsible AND they have low prices. They have a “green” category with some terrific products like Dropps laundry detergent and Ultra Green disposable plates that are compostable and biodegradeable. Not driving to the grocery store counts too!
