Amazon’s Video on Demand program is now available for free if you have a paid Prime Amazon.com membership,. You will now have free access to watch over 5,000 movies and TV shows, commercial-free, instantly over the internet.

This is only an added freebie if you have a paid Prime Amazon.com membership. This does not apply if you have a free Amazon Mom or Amazon student account. An Amazon Prime membership is $79 per year which gets you free 2 day shipping.

Personally, unless you were a very busy Amazon shopper, I would wait a few extra days for the free shipping when you spend more than $25. You can even pad your bill with a few groceries or toiletries to reach the $25 requirement. Perhaps adding the Amazon’s Video on Demand program will make this worthwhile for you.
