Some banks are waiving fees for account holders recovering from Hurricane Irene. Some banks are waiving fees for using out of network ATM’s, overdrawing accounts, late fees and making early withdrawals from certificates of deposit.

If you suffered loss from the Hurricane my heart goes out to you. My readers know that I traveled to New York and Connecticut last week to spend time with my Mom and siblings. I experienced an east coast earthquake but was able to get back to California before flights were cancelled. My family has some flood damage but everyone is safe and sound and I am so grateful. It was quite a week.
