*Expired…Here are some tips and discounts for saving money at Blockbuster Total Access and Blockbuster Express  for your movie rentals and game rentals.

Blockbuster By Mail and Blockbuster Total Access is a service like Netflix where you can rent online from over 80,000 titles. One difference is that with Blockbuster, you can exchange your online DVD for a discounted movie rental in-store.

Here are the prices for several plans:

By Mail Only:

1 DVD at a time – $8.99 + tax

2 DVD’s at a time – $13.99 + tax

3 DVD’s at a time – $16.99 + tax

Total Access by Mail Plus In-Store

1 DVD $11.99+tax with 2 free in-store exchanges 

2 DVD’s $16.99+tax monthly with 3 in-store exchanges 

3 DVD’s $19.99+tax monthly with 5 in-store exchanges

Blockbuster Express is rolling out rental kiosks just like Redbox. You can check your location HERE to see where the closest Blockbuster Express kiosk is located.They plan to have 10,000 kiosks by the end of 2010.  Many are located inside Circle K convenience stores. Blockbuster Express is charging $1.00 a night for movies through their Blockbuster Express kiosks and $1.99 for the first night of a blue-ray movie.

A  reader told me that when you are returning your DVD to a kiosk, wait until the final confirmation screen comes up or the next person can rent their DVD using your information.
