How to Redeem e-coupons at CVS:

CVS is now offering e-Coupons to load right to your ExtraCare store card. They call it the “Send to Card” option. Just sign up for ExtraCare emails if you do not already receive them. You will also get a $4 off a $20 purchase coupon.

When you scan your CVS card, your coupons will come right off your purchase. Hurray! e- coupons are a More With Less Today favorite.

You will receive the coupons received by email directly to your ExtraCare card.

From the CVS news release – “Customers who have opted in to receive ExtraCare emails can choose to send select coupons directly to their ExtraCare cards for automatic, digital in-store redemption, eliminating the need to print those coupons at home and submit paper copies at the register. As digital couponing rises in popularity, and today’s shoppers look for easier and more convenient ways to save money, this new feature provides customers with the option to receive paperless savings, giving them the choice to save the way they prefer.

To take advantage of this new feature, cardholders can sign up for ExtraCare emails at http://www.cvs.com/extracareemail. Once enrolled, customers will receive personalized offers to use when shopping at CVS/pharmacy. When receiving these offers by email, customers will have the option to either “Send to Printer” and bring the coupon with them to the store to redeem, or “Send to Card” to send it directly to their ExtraCare card for automatic redemption to realize instant savings when scanning their card at the register during check out.

ExtraCare’s new “Send to Card” feature makes it easier for shoppers who forget coupons at home or prefer not to print paper rewards. Shoppers that prefer paper coupons so they can physically collect and carry their rewards can still use this method as their preferred savings option.”

I think this is fantastic. Often our coupon savings just gets absorped. Here is a way to separate the savings and have a little slush fund for a rainy day, or to save for something special.

Select the eCoupons you like on the website or mobile app, and they are automatically linked to your store card. Use your card when you checkout and the money is added to your SavingStar account. The savings don’t change your bill at the register and the savings are not printed on the receipt. Instead, they get deposited into your account within 7-30 days depending upon where you shop.

Once your SavingStar account reaches $5 in savings, you can pick your payout from a bank account deposit, a PayPal account deposit, an Amazon gift card, or a donation to charity.
