*Expired……Donate last year’s prom dress to your local JC Penney’s store and get a coupon for 20% off this year’s prom dress. Your old prom dress will be donated to a program for girls who cannot afford to buy a dress. The program is called “Wear It, Rock It, Give It.”

You can donate your prom dress to any JC Penney’ store between March 13 and April 2, 2011. The dress can be any style, length, or size and you did not have to purchase it at JC Penney’s. Every store will have a donation closet. Here is a link to get more information.

More with Less Today tip- if you are looking for an inexpensive prom dress, try a consignment shop. Call ahead and ask them if they stock formal dresses. Not all of them do. My daughter bought a beautiful prom dress for $19. I’m sure she would be embarrassed that I posted her picture, but that it won’t be the first or last time that I embarrassed her, sorry sweetie!
