ebay is having a 1 day seller special for January 12, 2012. You can list for free auction style on 1/12/12 and pay no insertion free per item for up to 50,000 listings. The Buy It Now Option can also be added to these listing for free. Get all the details from the eBay website here.

The promotion starts on Thursday January 12, 2012 at midnight PST and ends one minute before midnight, PST. The promotion applies to both eBay store subscribers and sellers who do not have an eBay stores subscription.

Who’s eligible?

Sellers who list Auction-style on January 12, 2012 will pay no Insertion Fees per item listed (“Promotion”) for up to 50,000 listings in the Auction-style format. The Buy It Now option may also be added to these listings for free.

This Promotion applies to both eBay Stores subscribers, and sellers who do not have an eBay Stores subscription. If you do not have an eBay Stores subscription, your listings, up to 50,000 total during the promotion period, will be in addition to the 50 free Auction-style listings with free Buy It Now that you already get.

How do I get the Promotional Rate?

You will automatically receive the Promotional Rate when you list Auction-style items through Sell Your Item Form, eBay Seller Tools, and most third-party tools.
