I have become a money-saving expert on birthday freebies, thanks to my readers. This is my 3rd update to this popular post. Share this link with a friend and happy birthday!

It is always best to call ahead to verify offers and  tip as if you paid for everything. I suggest signing up for a separate free email account. Most of these birthday freebies require you to sign up online first. If you have a separate email address, you can check it as needed and not have your “regular” email account overflowing.

RETAILERS:

Aveda- free personal blends perfume or a custom blended body care product for birthday club members.

Children’s Place (retail clothing store) – special gift coupon for each child enrolled in the birthday club.

Disney- free admission to Disneyland in California or DisneyWorld in Florida on your birthday.

H-E-B – Birthday card and special coupons for your pet’s birthday.

Hollywood Video – offers a free birthday movie rental. Update your membership account with birth-dates of everyone on your account and they will aslo receive a free rental on their birthday.

Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus - Baby’s First Circus, register your newborn (up to 12 months) for free ticket with no expiration.

Target-register up to six kids and receive a $5.00 off coupon and a birthday planning kit. You can use the $5.00 off coupon for any purchase. Sign up here kids birthday club.

TOYS R US - birthdaysrus.com - sign up online 6-8 weeks prior. Available every year until child is 10. Geoffrey sends a card and gift and phones your child if you set this up ahead of time online. If you bring the child into the store and notify staff, they will receive a birthday crown, a balloon and an in-store announcement.

RESTAURANTS:

Acapulco – FREE Guacamole for email sign up and FREE entree on your birthday

Applebees - free dessert for kids 12 and under, register yearly

Baker’s Square - free pie

Baskin Robbins - join the Birthday Club for FREE scoop of ice cream and a discount on an ice-cream cake.

Bennigans -  register online. Buy one entree and get one free. Birthday guest receives free ice cream dessert and coupons by mail.

BJ’s Restaurant - free Pizookie (cookie with vanilla ice ream on top) , just tell your server.

Black Angus – join the Prime Club for a free steak dinner with the purchase of an additional dinner (must show ID and be 16 or older).

Bobs Big Boy - free hot fudge sundae

Boston Market - register for VIP Club and Get $3.00 coupon, register kids birthdays for a free kids meal & drink, (12 and under)

Buca di Beppo - join the eClub and get free dessert on your birthday, treat for anniversary and welcome offer.

Buffalo Wild Wings - some locations free dozen hot wings, other locations free slice of pie

Burger King - free kids meal, pre-register online.

California Pizza Kitchen - free CPK kids meal during birthday month, age 10 or under

Carrows – free cake

Chevys- free dessert and sombrero-sign up for the Compadre’s Club for more coupons and discounts.

Chilis – free dessert and song

Claim Jumper - free dessert, tell your server. Join CJ E-Club for more coupons and exclusive offers.

Coldstone Creamery – register online, add up to 5 family members. Free birthday creation.

Dairy Queen - free cone coupon by mail

Denny’s – join the D-Zone birthday club-kid’s free entree and sundae. (age 10 and under)

Friendly’s – FREE 3-Scoop Sundae for enrolling (with purchase of entree), birthday offer for enrolling in the birthday club.

Houlihans – free appetizer for joining online and free entree for birthday

Joe’s Crab Shack - free cake

Krispy Kreme - 6 FREE glazed donuts and a FREE coffee mug

Macaroni Grill - free dessert and “opera-style” birthday song

Maggiano’s Little Italy - join Email list for coupon for $10 off a $20 purchase and anniversary coupons too.

Marie Callendars - free dessert

PF Changs- free cake or cheesecake with email sign up

Red Lobster - birthday surprise for Fresh Catch members

Red Robin - join the e-Club and get coupons and a FREE burger on your birthday

Sonic Drive-In - free Wacky Pack Kid’s Meal for child registered in birthday club.

Wendys – sign up online for Wendy mail

HERE is a site to buy gift cards from major retailers and restaurants at less than face value. It is called Giftcards. com. You can also sell unwanted gift cards at this site. Be sure and check the Clearance Merchant Gift Cards at the bottom of the site.
