Use Restaurant.com to find a restaurant before you go out to dinner. Simply search by zip code or state, purchase a gift certificate ahead of time, print it, then take it to the restaurant and use it to take 425 off your bill.

Restaurant.com is a great way to try local independent restaurants (non-chain type restaurants.) They frequently participate in Restaurant.com as a way to build traffic.

Here are a few tips. Some of the restaurants have restrictions as to the day(s) that these can be used, such as mid-week and not weekends or holidays. Other restaurants specify a minimum food purchase and add in a gratuity of 18%. Just read the fine print before you purchase, even with some restrictions, these discounted restaurant certificates can save you a lot of money.
