Disney is offering a FREE pass to Disneyland or Walt Disney World to 1 million people who complete one day of volunteer service. The program is called “Give a Day , Get a Disney Day.” The program begins January 1, 2010, but you can sign up now to be sure to be included in the program.
Sign up HERE at this LINK and you will receive email reminders and updates about the “Give a Day. Get a Disney Day” program.
You must sign up for the eligible volunteer opportunities through the Disney Parks site. Participation in outside volunteer activities will not qualify for the free Disney Day. There will be one ticket issued per person, no matter how many additional volunteer hours that you complete.
The program begins January 1, 2010 and continue until December 15, 2010 or untill all the tickets are distributed. You must be at least 18 years of age to sign up, however adults can sign up up to 8 members of your household. Children must be at least 6 years old and children ages 6-17 must be accompanied by an adult.
The volunteer service must be verified and then you will be sent a voucher to print out by email. There are a few blackout dates and restrictions, but based upon what I read, there doesn’t seem to be too many restrictions. Here is the website to read all the details, click HERE.
If you want to sign up but are not sure whether or not you can use your ticket, you can donate it to a non-profit organization designated by Disney Parks.
You can still get FREE Disney admission on your birthday next year, sign up HERE, so perhaps you can work it out to get a FREE Day at a Disney Park for 2 consecutive days.
If you are new to More With Less Today, welcome to my free blog. I search every day to find the best tips, bargains, deals and freebies for my readers. I now have over 250 ways to start saving more money, organized by categories.
My blog is my “after work” hobby. I love finding new ways to save money and sharing them. I don’t have time to promote my site through Twitter, Facebook, Digg, etc. as much as I should, so I depend on my readers to help spread the word so that others can find me. I spend the time that I have finding and researching the deals to write about.
Thank you in advance for taking time to share my site!
