On the first Saturday of the month, kids can attend a FREE workshop at Home Depot. The workshops are designed for kids ages 5-12 and they must be accompanied by an adult. They are called “How-To Clinics” and they stress safety, do-it-yourself skills and they build confidence. This can be great one on one time with a parent or grandparent.
Past projects include birdhouses and window-boxes. Here is the LINK to show you the dates and upcoming projects. The workshops are from 9 am to 12 noon at Home Depot.
Each child also receives a special pin and a kid-size orange Home Depot apron.
