Kindle vs Nook-Price Wars
I love a good price war! Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble starting fighting today over who will have the lowest price on eReaders. Here are the current prices:

The 3G & WiFi version is $199.
The Amazon Kindle is now $189. (I paid $299 last year.)
I have written about my experience with the Amazon Kindle as I bought one last year as a graduation present for my daughter and paid $359. As soon as I bought it, the price dropped to $299! I called customer service and although they do not have a formal price protection policy, they gave me a credit for $60 for the difference. I was very pleased and became a fan of Amazon.com.
Here is an article I read from Digital Trends, (before the new price drop) comparing the Kindle to the Nook. I don’t have any experience with the Nook, but my husband, my daughter and I share the Kindle and enjoy it for the convenience and the portability.
