If you would like to donate your old phone to a worthy cause, consider HopeLine. All proceeds from donations go to aid victims of domestic violence. You can drop your old phone off at any Verizon store or mail it in using this pre-paid mailing label. Verizon accepts old phones and accessories in any condition. Verizon will also recycle your old chargeable phone batteries to keep them out of the landfills.
