New Government Site to Find Jobs

The Department of Labor launched a new website to help unemployed Americans called “My Skills, My Future.” You start by listing your current or previous job and the intent is to help to find you to a job that uses skills that you already have. Next you choose a location and you get a list of available jobs, typical wages, and the typical training that is needed to perform specific jobs.

I typed in “sales” and my area “Los Angeles” and over 500 jobs popped up, this was encouraging. I would love to hear from you to learn if this new government job site was helpful to you.
