Price Protection Policies at Major Retailers
Save your receipts and save money. It is a common frustration to make a purchase only to see the item go on sale. If you save your receipt and return to the store within the time frame allowed, you can get cash back or a store credit, individual store policies differ. Here are the price protection time frames of some major retailers:

Amazon.com discontinued their price protection policy last year. However, they did give me a $60 credit when the price of the Kindle I bought two weeks ago dropped by $60.00. You can read the details HERE in my article.
PriceProtectr.com is a site I wrote about on February 3rd in an article called “Websites That Can Save You Money”. You can register your purchase with Price Protector and they will email you if the price drops.
