There is a site to help you figure out how much to bid on Priceline called The Bidding Traveler . I heard about this site on The Clark Howard Show. I always learn something new from Clark Howard.

The Bidding Traveler makes it easy to get the lowest price at Priceline without a lot of guesswork and time, and it’s free. Simply type in the dates you wish to travel, how many stars you are willing to pay for, with 4 being the highest rated and The Bidding Traveler will tell you what bids have recently been rejected along with the recommended high and low numbers that you should submit for your bid.

Try this free site the next time you want to see “how low you can go” for a hotel stay. Let me know what you think. It seems like it will take the guesswork out of bidding and rebidding for a hotel room.
