Get a Radio Shack gift card by trading in your old (working) electronics. Radio Shack will give you a gift card to purchase new merchandise. You can read about the program which is called “The Shack Trade-In and Save” here: Radio Shack Recycle and Trade In Program.
Acceptable items for exchanges include MP3 players, phones, game systems and games, cameras, camcorders, GPS systems, monitors, desktops, car amplifiers, radar detectors and digital SLR cameras, keyboards and even computer mice.
According to their ad, you can get as much as $52 for your Blackberry Curve 8900 and as much as $49 for your Garmin Nuvi 137OT GPS. They are calling the program Trade & Save.
For online trade in, these products will be evaluated: laptops, HDTV’s, and car audio systems.
If your device has no trade in value, they will recycle it for you, if you choose.

Thanks to my “good tipper” Josephine for this great idea!
Best Buy has a similar program, you can read about their program HERE. You might want to look at both sites to see where you will get the most money for your item(s).
