Here is a tip for saving money: Rent an item that you need for a short time.
Rent anything online and save money at a site called Zilok. To earn some extra cash, offer an item you own for rent on this site.
The home page says Zilok is a site for peer-to-peer renting, arranged online. Here are some items I saw:
catering equipment and party items
video & film cameras items for a business presentation
power tools camping gear
GPS systems musical instruments
baby gear medical equipment
trucks, boats and RV’s and much more!
Registration is free and you set the daily price and the deposit amount for the items that you are offering to be rented..
A few years ago, I hosted a family reunion for about 15 people and I needed to find a wheelchair, inflatable beds, catering supplies and baby equipment. This site would have been ideal to meet all of those needs.
