Save money taking the kids to the movies this summer. Every Wednesday for the next 5 weeks, AMC Theaters will be showing a family movie at 10:00 am for $1.00. All proceeds from admission and *concession sales will benefit The Will Rodger’s Institute or Variety-the Children’s Charity. Families, schools, camps and groups are welcome and you can buy your tickets a week in advance at their website.

Check your location by zip code at the AMC Theater website to see which theaters in your area are participating. Here is a list of the movies and their ratings:

The Spiderwick Chronicles - Rated G

Nim’s Island - Rated PG

Star Wars-the Clone Wars- Rated PG
