Starwood Hotels Promotion

The Starwood Hotel chain has an interesting promotion called “Pay Your Birth Year.” This is where it pays to be old, I’m in. If you are young, share this one with your parents or grandparents.

Pay the regular rate for the first night and on the second night and in some cases, the third night too, pay the rate of the year that you were born.

Here is how this would work for me in the Los Angeles area:

Stay at the Westin LA Airport and pay $199 the first night and I would pay $57 for nights 2 and 3.

Stay at the Four Points Westin Los Angeles and pay $179 the first night and I would pay $57 for nights 2 and 3.

So now you know, I was born in 1957, see how this works? For a 3 night stay in a $200 a night hotel, my daily cost would average $100 a night.

The Starwood hotel chain includes Sheraton, Westin, W Hotels, Meridian, Four Points,St. Regis, and Element hotels with locations in the U.S., Canada, Caribbean, and the Netherland Antilles.
