Several stores like Target, Rite Aid and Publix are reacting to the tactics of Extreme Couponers and are changing their policies. Truthfully, this should not affect ”regular” coupon users at all.

My regular readers know that I have never been an advocate of Extreme Couponing. Who has the time for that? Certainly not me. We are all just looking to spend a little less and save a little more. Nothing extreme going on here. I watched the show once and it made my skin crawl.
It is smart to print out the coupon policy from the websites of the stores that you frequent with coupons. Often the person ringing you up does not know the store policy and needs to be (politely) educated. Sometimes you will have to wait for the manager and the people behind you will shoot make believe daggers at you, but you are preventing the next person from having the same problem if you bring the coupon policy with you.
