Veteran’s Day Thank You Meals and Deals

Thank you to all of our veterans. I am a proud U.S. Army Veteran as is my husband. Both of our fathers  served in World War Two. We salute all of our active duty service people keeping us safe and free. May God bless you and protect you and bring you safely home soon.

The last time I was in an airport, I saw a Dad prompt his two little children to approach a nearby soldier and they simply said “Thank You.” It was a simple yet poignant gesture.

Outback Steakhouse – on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 all veterans and active duty military will receive a free Bloomin’ Onion and beverage.

McCormick and Schmick’s - Sunday, November 8th, Veteran’s Appreciation Event. Get a complimentary lunch or dinner entree.

Applebees- all veterans and active duty military eat free on November 11th.

Golden Corral – Military Appreciation Dinner – Monday, November 16th from 5pm to 9 pm.

Uno’s Chicago Pizza – free entree or individual pizza for veteran’s and active duty military.

Krispy Kreme - free doughnut for all veteran’s and active duty military on Wednesday, November 11, 2009.

Knotts Berry Farm - Buena Park, CA.  Military Salute- from November 1st to November 26th, free admission for armed forces personnel and a guest. Up to 6 additional tickets can be purchased for $15 each.

Home Depot- 10% discount to military personnel from November 5th – November 11, 2009.

Lowe’s - 10% discount to military personnel from November 8th – November 15th.

Sports Authority - 15% off entire purchase on 11/11/09. -Military ID or proof required, some exclusions, visit website.  The online coupon code for this promotion is “TSAVETDAY.”
