What Can You Get for Free on Valentine’s Day?

I “heart” all of my readers, I truly do. I compiled a long list of Valentine’s Day freebies and deals for you! Some of these deals are valid past Valentine’s Day.

Get a free trial at American Greetings and send your Valentine’s Day e-cards for free. Make sure you cancel unless you buy a lot of greeting cards, you may save money sending e-cards from American Greetings. 

Send a free personalized Facebook Valentine to a loved one and Macy’s will donate $1.00 up to $250,000 to the American Heart Associations “Go Red for Women” movement. Go to  www.facebook.com/Macys.  Click the Valentine tab.

Aunt Anne’s Pretzel - Print the Facebook coupon for a free signature pretzel with the purchase of any pretzel item. Click the download in high resolution link for a proper download.

Caribou Coffee – buy one get one free on Valentine’s Day, print coupon HERE.

Corner Bakery -Free cup of homemade soup at Corner Cafe when you buy a sandwich or salad. Print coupon HERE. The offer expires on 2/20/11.

Denny’s – Send a free e-Valentine (there are 4 to choose from) and you will both a Denny’s coupon for a free order of pancake puppies (dessert) with your purchase of an entree. Here is the link to get started. The offer expires March 23, 2011.

Einstein Bros – free bagel and schmear when you buy a drink, through February 20th. Like them on Facebook, submit a comment and then print or buy one get one free new Bagel Thin Panini, print coupon HERE.

Hooters- buy 10 wings, get 10 free on Valentine’s Day, details HERE.

Krispy Kreme – purchase any dozen doughnuts at Krispy Kreme through February 14, 2011 and you will get get 12 free Valentine’s Day cards.  Each Valentine card has a coupon for a free doughnut.

Marble Slab – get a free sample of their new Tiramisu Ice Cream on Valentine’s Day from 3-6 pm. No coupon needed.

Peet’s Coffee -Enjoy a free  cup of Peet’s Coffee when you buy one for a friend! Print out the coupon HERE  through February 20th, 2011, and enjoy! Not all franchises will participate, you may want to call ahead.

Restaurant.com  -Use promo code “LOVE” and get a $25 gift certificate for only $2.00! For a limited time, you will also get a free $10 gift from ProFlowers with your order. If you haven’t looked into Restaurant.com , visit the site first to view the restaurants in your area. Simply, buy the $2.00 gift certificate at the site and enjoy big savings.  They expire 1 year from date of purchase.

Some of the restaurants have restrictions as to the day(s) of the week that these can be used. Check to see if Valentine’s Day is part of the promotion, if not dine out on a different day and avoid the crowds!

Entertainment- free movies and free bowling!
